Family, Love, Friendship, Emotion and Will—How do great philosophers evaluate or take them as a concern in their studies surprised me very much.
What I found about interesting about great philosophers that Family and gender did not become issues in philosophy. Certainly they are topics in sociology. As for love, philosophers discussed in different forms but not love in a family. Aristotle talked about “friendship” and Augustine divine love. They discussed more about “reason” than “feeling, emotion, will.” But, the central issue was reason. Studies of emotion and will is less than those of reason.- Actions

May be so because i think the philosophers are driven more by their minds than hearts!
